This easy crochet hat can be worked in 6 different sizes (from 17.5” to  to 25.25”)!

This design is worked in continuous rounds of single crochet stitches, creating a seamless design that’s gorgeous from any angle. The brim is also added in continuous rounds of slip stitches and double crochet, in simple repeats! It’s a great pattern because:

  • Hats are quick and easy projects to work up – especially with super bulky yarn!
  • Chunky  hats are great projects for winter and cooler months!
  • This project is perfect for lots of different head sizes (17.5” – 25.25”), whether you’re male or female (it’s not gender specific).
  • You’ll get to practice a lot of crochet skills: continuous rounds, stitch tension, gauge & size, post stitches, slip stitches, finishing techniques & more!

Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, Super Bulky #6 yarn (80% acrylic, 20% Superwash Wool; 106 yds/97 m per 6 oz/170 g skein):

  • US Size N/15 (10.0mm) crochet hook. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain gauge.
  • 1 Stitch marker.
