Right and Wrong Sides in Crochet
Not all crochet projects have a right side (front) and a wrong side (back), but Easy Crochet Hat definitely does.
Be sure to note the right side of the fabric as you work the pattern instructions so that your finished hat shows the most attractive side on the outside.

How To Double Crochet In Rounds
This Easy Crochet Hat is worked from the top down in joined rounds.
Because this hat is worked with the double crochet stitch, the number of stitches used per round is important.
And then, each new round you crochet will increase at a very specific rate to create a flat, even circle.
While this article focuses on creating straight seams in joined rounds, you can learn a lot more about working different stitches in rounds.
