If you like decorating with crochet, and having lots of storage solutions, you’ll love this project!
The Fast Track Basket pattern is made using chain, single, and double crochet stitches in an easy-to-follow stitch and row repeat that makes a really interesting design!
This basket pattern is written in one size, but, because this is a decorative project, you can use any yarn colors, fibers, and weights that you like best.
The Fast Track Basket begins with a solid base of single crochet stitches worked in joined rounds. Then, the sides are worked with alternating repeats of single, chain, and double crochet over 4 repeating rows of work.
There are handles that can be added last, or you can simply omit them for a cleaner look.
This is a great pattern because:
- This basket pattern will help you to practice working complex stitch and round repeats!
- You can use baskets as decoration in any room of your house, and they make great gifts too!
- This project can be worked with any yarn weight or fiber type you have – it’s a fantastic stash-buster!
- You’ll get to practice a lot of crochet skills: joined rounds, stitch tension, stitch counting and recognition, increasing, complex stitch and round repeats, and more!
